I have designed many small sites back in the old days of limiting table-based web design. Some of the sites are available only as screenshots here as, due to the changeable nature of the web, they no longer exist online. Sidewalk.com is the most notable of these sites. It was bought from Microsoft by City Search and re-launched in a similar format under that name.
Recently my excitement for the web has been reinvigorated by learning CSS, updating to XHTML, accessible web standards, and the separation of content and presentation. The older sites were made using Dreamweaver (with a small amount of hand-coding in Arachnophilia). The new sites were hand-coded in a text editor. Design and animations were created using Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and/or Fireworks.
